"We are all in this together. We need each other. Oh, how we need each other. Those of us who are old need you who are young, and hopefully, you who are young need some of us who are old...We need deep and satisfying and loyal friendships with each other. These friendships are a necessary source of sustenance. We need to renew our faith every day. We need to lock arms and help build the kingdom so that it will roll forth and fill the whole earth."

DIY: Cleaning Fruit & Veggies

Summertime means fresh fruits and vegetables. I love to eat fresh fruits and vegetables all the time. I found this amazing link that explains how to clean fruits and vegetables. I'm never sure if using just water always got rid of the bugs and bacteria, etc on the fruit. Then I found this D.I.Y. Solution and gave it a try. It really works and I couldn't believe how clean and shiny my fruits have been. It even helps them last a little longer.

Give it a try!!!

Here's How-To:

Make sure your sink is very clean.

Fill a sink halfway with lukewarm water.

Add 1 cup of white vinegar.

Mix.

Add your fruit. Don't over fill your sink with fruit.

Soak for about 10 minutes.

Rinse well.

The Result: Clean. Fruit.
